Unit Plan Assignment (Due October 1 for Peer Review; Final: December 13 )

Design a unit plan around a central theme.

It should last for approximately 2-3 weeks.

An effective unit plan should include creative and appropriate:

1. theme selection

2. important concept(s) / sub-concepts

3. desired unit outcome(s) / objective(s)

4. teaching methods/choices you will use (list of each day but not necessary to create an entire lesson plan)

5. assessment tool(s)

6. resources needed

7. In addition to the unit plan please include the course and general description thereof as well as class (student) profile.
